Post-Earthquake Tilted House and Six-DOF Safety Experience Room

This educational installation combines a six-axis motion platform with a visibly tilted room to demonstrate both active shaking and the disorienting conditions that may remain after structural movement.

Training Objectives

• Recognize falling-object and unstable-furniture hazards
• Practise drop, cover and hold-on
• Understand safe evacuation after shaking
• Experience controlled tilt and balance challenges

Handrails, access, supervision, emergency stops and motion limits are designed for the intended audience.
